Before ETF Headoffice does produce a personalized letter of invitation for support with the visa procedure you first have to send the following >>> 1-2-3

ETF Tournament office will only accept the official ETF entry form
(word file "starte.doc")

>>>A complete list of your team = all your competitors and officials
with name - date of birth - passport number and competition class number
competition class numbers as published in the tournament information
VERY IMPORTANT
ETF Headoffice does not accept any difference between the list of competitors and officials
sent with the entry form and the list for the visa department with name-date of birth-passport numbers

ETF Headoffice does prefer to send invitations only to registered ETF Members and national ETF Representatives.
Our representative will decide about the team / competitors representing your home country at ETF Championships in Europe.
OUTSIDE EU Countries
We never will send a letter of invitation to individual competitors
- only to national competition teams with a minimum of 3 competitors or more !VERY IMPORTANT:
After having sent our letter of invitation it is not possible to make changes within a team.The DEADLINE for entries from countries outside Europe (European Union)
is 8 weeks before the tournament or other ETF events !
It is most important to send a correct application and entry form very early.
Embassy security procedure for visa does last up to 4 weeks in some countries !After having received your correct entry with all necessary attachments in time
ETF Headoffice will send 1 (one) official letter of invitation by air mail or e-mail
to the team / to the German Embassy in your home country.
NOT BY FAX !
This letter may be shown at the visa department, when you will apply for the visa.
Bring your ETF Passport to the visa department in order to prove your membership in our sports federation !We will not send "last-minute" faxes and we will not phone the visa department
because we already know this is not very productive for the visa application.
For accommodations please always contact the organizing team as published in the tournament information, but NOT ETF Headoffice.

Organizing team may help you with the accommodations and necessary transfers, but this is NOT a free service. The costs must be covered by the competition team.
When applying for the visa it may be helpful to show a confirmation of hotel booking, a proof of your medical insurance for Germany and air flight tickets.
Since 2004 we have a new standard for entries to ETF Championships.

The ETF Organizing team assumes no responsibility for any damages, injuries or losses.

The ETF Organizing team is free from any costs during your stay in Germany.
Promoter and organizer will not give any declaration to the embassy or the German ministry of foreign affairs that may guarantee responsibility for your stay in Germany.
Your team has to bring all necessary documents for a possible medical treatment in Germany.
You must declare that all costs of your stay in Germany are covered by your team, including accommodations, transfers, entry fee.

All applicants for a ETF Dan Promotion Test must be registered ETF Members.
Membership has to be proved by a valid ETF Passport.
For participation in Dan Gradings in Germany please contact ETF Headoffice.
Dan Gradings in other countries are organized by qualified and registered national ETF Representatives.
